It is Girls Auto Clinic's mission to educate and empower women through their cars. We do this by offering auto resources, services, and products catered to women and their vehicles. We currently hire and train women mechanics, provide automotive education and resources, and offer automotive repair services in the Philadelphia area. 

Who is needed?

Girls Auto Clinic needs an Assistant or Spirit Director to manage our customer experiences as well as provide office support to our operations. As the Girls Auto Clinic Assistant or Spirit Director, you are an integral part of a team at Girls Auto Clinic Repair Center by managing our customer experiences and administrative duties, while helping us maintain a reputation as a staple and destination place in the Philadelphia market. You will be assisting the Repair Center Operations and our founder/CEO Patrice Banks.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a great, upbeat spirit! You love customer service and engaging with people. You are organized, reliable, and love to help out. You feel comfortable working independently. Also, you should meet the following requirements.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and manage time.

  • Great oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient computer and software ability to operate general office equipment.

  • Open-minded and interested in learning & growing both personally & professionally.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Able to lift 30-40 lbs

What are the goals of the Assistant/Spirit Director? 

There are two main goals of the spirit director: 

  1. Manage Girls Auto Clinic customer experiences to maintain our brand’s mission; auto repair catered to women.

  2. Support repair center operations to run effectively and efficiently.


How will the Assistant/Spirit Director achieve these goals?

Head of Girls Auto Clinic Experience

  • Ensure Clutch Lounge and Bathroom are clean, stocked, and serviceable.

  • Manage building maintenance

  • Greeting, engaging and helping customers on both sides of Girls Auto Clinic and Clutch

  • Engage with customers on both sides of Girls Auto Clinic and Clutch. 

  • Manage Clutch Look and Feel inside and outside - Decor, Artwork, Plants, Music, Projector, TVs, and perfumes inside the lounges and salon

Office Support and Administration

  • Managing all repair center appointments, including scheduling, cancellation, and re-scheduling.

  • Managing all non-repair customer communications by email, text and phone.

  • Vendor management of non-auto repair vendors/contractors

  • Assist in maintain operations and business paperwork and documentation online and physical

  • Manage office and job supplies (non-auto-related), order, tracking, storage, and inventory

  • Assist the entire business with light clerical duties and errands

  • Collaborate and communicate with other business vendors like Marketing, IT, and Facility Services

  • Manage calendars and schedules of staff

Our Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM

This is an in-person role.

How much is the job paying?

This is a full time position with a salary range for $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. There is potential to grow into a service advisor role or an office manager role.
