How to get green at the gas pump and save money!

Recently I wrote a blog on how you can save money at the pump, be greener with your car and support American workers - all by choosing E15 when you fuel up. Did you get a chance to read it?

I found E15 or Ethanol 15 at a Wawa Gas Station on Roosevelt Blvd in Northeast Philly. It’s 12 cents cheaper than regular gas! E15 is approved for all vehicles made in 2000 or newer.

Choosing E15 is easy at the pump! It has a separate nozzle from the regular gasoline and E85! E85 was yellow and E15 was gold. Regular gasoline was red.

Picked up the gold nozzle and hit the 88 button for E15. I’m ready to start fueling up my car.

RFA is offering a limited-time giveaway for a $50 gas card at a participating fuel station. This is a nationwide social media contest. Two winners will be selected by following our giveaway rules listed below.

Contest Dates: December 3rd - December 5th. Winners will be notified by December 13th, 2024, and sent their $50 gift card in the mail.

One contest winner will be selected via Instagram and one via Facebook. Participants can apply on both social media platforms to increase chances of winning. Only one entry will be counted for each platform therefore multiple entries will not be counted. Rules on how to enter are below. Good luck Shecanics and Friends!

The Gas Card can be used for E15 or if you have a flex fuel vehicle, for E85.
